There are moments in life that are indelible, things that change your life in a meaningful way, things you cannot forget. Special memories you hold onto with photographs and memory books. A recording of a wedding or graduation. Or a certain song that belongs only to you and that most important person in your life. And when you wake up from the best dream ever, don't you want to turn on the light, find a pen and paper, and write it down in as much detail as you can before you lose it? Or are you too anxious to get back to sleep, in the hope of maybe returning to that unique place? Either way, you find yourself drawn back several times throughout the next day, trying to make sense, trying to find the insight that was contained in that dream because therein lies something that you did not have before, something that changes your life for the better, something that makes you a different person.
Welcome to Book of Dreams Productions, located in Portland, OR, established in July 2011. BOD was founded, in part, on the concept of collaboration with multiple forms of media which may lend themselves to each respective project. We produce mostly modern and somewhat edgy works, designed to challenge the way audiences think and feel about their lives and the world around them. We also strive to represent marginalized portions of our society, illuminating that which is in darkness, bringing clear perspective to that which is misunderstood. We mean to encourage a good conversation instead of a good night's sleep.
